Mitch Zelman is an E&S broker, leader, and mentor with a passion for business. He currently owns
Noodle Station, a fast-casual Asian restaurant. He also owns a consulting company, Last Look Consulting Group, which focuses on sales and mentor training.
Mitch recently joined the team at USG Insurance Services as the National Director: Brokerage Division. He brings tenacity and creative thinking in placing large brokerage accounts, education and experience in risk management, and a spirited personality to foster client relationships. He is known for his innovative approach to problem-solving, and his ability to create connections with agents and carriers. At USG, he will launch and grow the Brokerage Division.
At the age of 18, Mitch Zelman obtained his insurance license. He was selected to be a NAPSLO intern in 2002. In 2003 he graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance. While at Florida State University he was part of the Water Polo Club Team and President of the Risk Management Insurance Society (RMIS).
After graduation, he went on to join a wholesale insurance brokerage in 2003, where he became a vital industry player. He created a team capable of handling a wide variety of property and casualty placements by building long-lasting relationships with retail agents and insurance company underwriters.
In his personal time, Mitch supports many charities and nonprofit organizations including the Children’s Tumor Foundation, Angelman Syndrome Foundation, and the SOS Foundation. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Fishing Committee at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club. He is an avid supporter of ocean conservation and clean-up.
Mitch established the Mitch Zelman Scholarship, which offers a monetary opportunity for both graduate and undergraduate students to assist in their continuing education. Beyond charity work, in his spare time, he is an avid surfer and freediver. He is a former triathlete and has previously participated in Ironman competitions.
Mitch’s plans at USG are to invest more of himself through mentorship and grow a team that’s ready to rise to the challenges of a rapidly growing and evolving market.

Our mission at Last Look Consulting Group is to provide sales team training that increases meaningful personal and professional development, motivation, and results for sellers by forging strong and lasting relationships and creating differentiated value for customers long-term.
The Mitch Zelman Scholarship was founded in 2021 with the goal of providing financial assistance to those who are currently continuing their academic endeavors by attending college or university, or plan to in the near future.
